Wyoming Senator John Barrasso recently dropped a bomb on EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson [Read Full Article on Senator Barrasso's Website].  In response to Senator Barrasso’s exposé, I sent the following letter to his office:

Dear Senator Barrasso:

I would like to applaud your efforts in exposing the radical environmental policies of the Obama administration.  I am referring to your questioning of EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson regarding a White House memo to the EPA mentioning the regulation of CO2 emissions and the harmful effect such regulation, as proposed by President Obama and his administration, would have on not only Wyoming, but on the nation as a whole.

I find it interesting that the communication to the EPA originated from the White House and I find it even more interesting that it is the belief of White House or essentially the current presidential administration, that regulating CO2 emissions in order to curb the effects of “global climate change” in the manner proposed by the Obama administration would ruin the nation’s economy.

Ms. Jackson’s failure to directly answer your questions regarding the White House memo solidifies my belief that she, as well as the Obama administration, has no interest in the welfare of the American people, but in that of their own political ambitions.  I view Ms. Jackson’s response in regards to a “gradual” regulating of green house gasses such as CO2 with incredulity.  Any time I hear the word “gradual”, especially from President Obama and his administration, I think of the illustration of putting a frog in a pot of water.  The frog splashes around and thinks everything is just fine until the heat underneath the pot is “gradually” increased to the point the frog is no longer feeling fine and wants out of the pot of water.  By then it is too late…the frog is trapped and is sure to face death in that pot of now hot and soon to be boiling, water.  It doesn’t matter if one gradually enacts harmful policy or regulation or not, the end result will be the same.

I want to thank you for representing the great state of Wyoming in the manner befitting a true Wyomingite and for that matter, a true American.  I encourage you to continue to oppose the radical, dangerous, and harmful policies of President Obama, his administration, and many Democrats in the United States Congress.  Your opposition to the radical, leftist ideology that is increasing in its permeation of our government and society at an alarming rate, inspires me and others like me to continue to fight for what is right and in turn support you, Senator Enzi, and Congresswoman Lummis in your fight to keep the United States of America safe, stable, and free.

Kudos and a “Bravo!” to Senator Barrasso for standing up for America!  Let’s hope he can withstand the constant left-wing onslaught that relentlessly pummels Beltway politicians and that he continues to uphold conservative values.  Keep your eye on Senator Barrasso.
