It’s not enough that President Obama wants adults to worship and adore him. It’s not enough that he wants Americans to blindly and mindlessly acquiesce to his outright Marxist wishes and desires. If you are a parent and your children are subjected to the propaganda that will be dispensed in our public schools this month, I encourage you not to pull them from school just because of one hour of Obama propagandizing. That will only provide leftists with ammunition to use against conservatives and freedom-loving Americans. They already think that we are uneducated, racist, closed-minded redneck rubes.
What you as a parent can do is go to school with your children during that one hour and sit with them. Listen to and watch what President Obama says and does. After Obama’s propaganda hour, explain to them why and how Barack Obama and those whom he is using to disseminate leftist propaganda are wrong in their thinking and reasoning, if indeed the information Obama imparts is not just purely “educational” in its content. Reason with your children using simple truth and logic; not emotionalism, theories, misrepresentations or out-and-out lies. Most importantly, let your children know that you care for and love them. If you are unable to attend school with you kids during the “Obama hour”, after your children come home after school, sit down with them and ask them what they learned from President Obama. If you are able to get any information from your kids, educate them on how and why the information that President Obama shared with them is incorrect and/or inaccurate.
President Obama has his own kids, whom he cares for and loves. He should not be assuming the role of parent to other people’s kids. Nor should he use a nationwide teleconference as an opportunity to further his radical Marxist agenda by brainwashing children. Hopefully, he will use the one hour of time to impress upon children the importance of a good education and learning. May I be wrong on this, but I suspect Obama will interject bits of misinformation into his big “teachable moment”.
