I imagine that if the Arizona Democratic Party could, they’d flush this image down the memory hole:

That’s from a political ad. Republican Representative J. D. Hayworth (now former Representative, but he was in office at the time of the ad) is the man in the crosshairs.

Now, if it’s Such A Terrible Thing to put crosshairs on a map, how bad is it to superimpose crosshairs over a picture of a person?
