And I Thought Crosshairs On Political Things Was Bad

I guess not when you’re a teacher’s union protesting a Republican governor, to wit, Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin:


I eagerly await all the lefties that denounced Sarah Palin’s map with crosshairs also denouncing this sign.

But holding my breath, I am not.

    Please. This was in Wisconsin. It’s not like the more modern states such as New Mexico, Tennessee or Idaho, for instance. Folks there don’t know about “crosshairs” being verboten yet. It takes much longer than this for outside news to trickle down up there. Now that football season is over they will begin catching up, though. Maybe by June?

    Just read a summary of the WI bill that has the public unions’ shorts in a twist. Besides removing the right to public employee collective bargaining, it is really fairly mild and reasonable under that state’s current fiscal condition. In my view what they should be doing is for every day it is being blocked from action, adjust the proposed benefit package downward a notch or two. How many days do you want to rant and rave? That’s how much your pay and benefits will decrease. Have fun, children. Let us know when you want to grow up.

      What’s got them all up in arms is that with Democrat control of the state legislature, the unions basically had free rein and a blank check for years. However, with the 2010 election… one might actually call it a realignment… that has vanished.

      Therefore, the unions are acting like any other immature child… kicking their feet and screaming “nononononononono!” at the top of their lungs.
