Well, that was pretty much preordained:
Al Armendariz, the Environmental Protection Agency official under fire for comparing enforcement of environmental laws to crucifixion, has resigned.
It took too long, and of course the EPA chief said that it was a “distraction,” but at least he’s gone now. Of course, that won’t do much about the culture at the EPA; about all that’s gonna happen is that they’ll be a bit more circumspect about announcing their anti-business ideology.
