Obama To Spike The Football In Afghanistan?

Well, he is in Afghanistan, and he’s set to deliver a speech

“President Barack Obama is in Afghanistan for a whirlwind visit that will culminate in a live, televised address to the American people,” a White House pool report said Tuesday.

And today is the 1-year anniversary of the SEALs knocking down bin Laden’s door and sending him to meet his maker, so it’s likely to seem like a good time for Obama to stroke his own ego on TV.

I’ll go out on a limb (not too far) and predict that he’s going to refer to bin Laden in this speech, and also that it’s highly likely that instead of giving credit to all the people who played a part, he’s going to focus on his own (limited) contribution to the operation.
