Three cheers for Michael Garcia, a waiter at Laureno’s in Houston.
Thanks to Obama’s twenty-three Executive Orders (gee, if someone named Bush did that many in one fell swoop the leftists would be screaming “imperial presidency!”), which was brilliantly taken apart here (fair warning, don’t have liquids in your mouth when reading that post), we’ve now got the gun-control advocates thinking that they’re going to get their way this time.
But what is really behind many of the calls for greater gun control? I’m talking about the calls from the average man on the street or blog commenter, not from the Democratic Leadership (their motives would take a whole post on its own, and I may take it up someday).
Yes, I said slavery. And I’m not alone.
This is what happens when bureaucrats get the idea they can control how doctors practice medicine.
I kid you not… these people are so afraid of any competition that they’re willing to sue over, yes, the fact that in a textbook one chapter is generally before another.
Not sure if I trust anything the former plagiarist says, but for what it’s worth, here’s the video:
Some might be wondering why I went to such an extent as to write two long posts naming the name of every Republican who voted for the tax hikes in the “fiscal cliff” bill. Well, I was going to write at length about that today, but, lo and behold, someone else beat me to it, and wrote something I wish I could have.
Below is a list of all those Republicans in the House of Representatives who voted “aye” on the fiscal cliff bill, which effectively raised taxes on every working American (sorry, the House website doesn’t list state or district except in the case of multiple Representatives with the same last name).
