Well, think again. Now that they’ve won their tax hike on people making $400,000 a year, they’re looking for even more tax hikes.
Some might be wondering why I went to such an extent as to write two long posts naming the name of every Republican who voted for the tax hikes in the “fiscal cliff” bill. Well, I was going to write at length about that today, but, lo and behold, someone else beat me to it, and wrote something I wish I could have.
Below is a list of all those Republicans in the House of Representatives who voted “aye” on the fiscal cliff bill, which effectively raised taxes on every working American (sorry, the House website doesn’t list state or district except in the case of multiple Representatives with the same last name).

Gee, thanks, John Boehner. Thanks to your last-minute cave on taxes, the taxes on pretty much every employed American are set to go up by about a thousand dollars.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why America is failing. The supposed party of fiscal conservatism is about to give the leftists 90% of what they want in exchange for a pig in a poke.
Two stories crossed my inbox today that highlight the difference between the two parties, I believe.
And so it begins… the IRS is beginning to “clarify” what all those taxes in ObamaCare will look like.
Yet another reason that tax the rich just plain doesn’t work: the rich can afford to move to a place with lower taxes.
Once again, anyone that is surprised by this is either completely clueless on basic economics and human behavior, or is a leftist (but I repeat myself).
